The Flag Officer Commanding (FOC) Naval Training Command (NAVTRAC), Rear Admiral JO Okojie, who was on a familiarization tour of all the Naval Installations and formations throughout the country, has paid a courtesy visit to the Commandant Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Major General MT Ibrahim.

According to Rear Admiral Okojie, the tour became expedient in order for him to acquaint himself with the knitty gritty of his formations under his Command, as well as their requirements and demands for effective functioning. He further mentioned that he is fascinated by the products of the NDA and the cross pollination between the Naval Training Command and the NDA. He also promised to put in place the framework and appropriate mechanism for the completion and actualization of ongoing projects in the Navy.

He further noted that such visits provide the opportunity to share ideas and correct wrong impressions and illusions. He emphasized that NDA is conscious of federal character and admission into NDA is based on standard blueprint.
