While congratulating the cadets for making it thus far in their training, the Chief of Army Staff, who was the Special Guest of Honour at the event, highlighted the importance of the Battle Inoculation exercise to include a real life battle situation simulation that is intended to instil physical and mental alertness in the cadets.
Lieutenant General TY Buratai also used the occasion to thank the people of Kachia, the host community for the exercise, for their reception and co-operation with the Nigerian Defence Academy and the Nigerian Army as a whole, over the years.
Earlier, the Director Military Training, Nigerian Defence Academy, Brigadier General OF Azinta, while addressing guests and cadets at the occasion, said the Battle Inoculation exercise was designed to improve Cadets’ understanding of operational, administrative and logistical concepts of battle. Brigadier General OF Azinta used the occasion to thank the NDA Commandant, Major General MT Ibrahim, for his guidance and his expansion of the Camp Highland Exercise and Battle by making it more rigorous.

Other dignitaries present at the Camp Battle Inoculation and Firepower Demonstration Execise include the NDA Commandant, Major General MT Ibrahim, the NDA Deputy Commandant, Air Vice Marshal CE Okoye and other senior military and civilian officers of the Academy.
