The Commandant NDA, Major General MT Ibrahim, has urged cadets of the Academy and officers alike to take physical training and fitness very seriously as it was one of the basic things that would ensure they excel in any call to duty.

Represented by the Cadets’ Brigade Commander, Brigadier General MG Kangye, the NDA Commandant stated this at the end of the Novices Boxing exercise for cadets of the 68 Regular Course at the NDA permanent site Kaduna.

Major General MT Ibrahim added that even though the Novices Boxing was not a competitive event, the Cadets should see it as an opportunity to hone in their non-armed combat skills as such skill could come in handy when the die is cast.
The Commandant further advised officers and men, to at all times, see to it that they take their intellectual and physical development very seriously as these two attributes would determine their longevity and efficiency to their calling.
