Prof AS Nwankwo Commissons Shelling Lodge

The Academy Provost of the foremost Military University, Nigerian Defence Academy, Professor AS Nwankwo has commissioned the remodeled Post Graduate school lodge at the NDA Postgraduate School, Ribadu Campus. In his remarks, Prof Nwankwo expressed delight on the event based on it symbolism, in the sense that for the first time according to him the academy has begun to conform to the needs of the Post graduate school, which he said is key to the growth of any university system. He acknowledged the goodwill and magnanimity of the commandant, Maj Gen MT Ibrahim, for attending to the needs of the PG school. Prof OA Ahmed also commended the commandant on his efforts of upgrading the lodge to international standard, describing it as a mile stone achievement that would boost the morale and performance of the Postgraduate students during their period of study. In addition, he said hostel accommodation is one of the cardinal feature of a good university that earns a higher score during NUC accreditation, he added that it is key at the Post graduate level, because that is where ideaâ€™s and research works are created and as such must be conducive and suitable.

The remodeled Post Graduate school lodge is named after one of the past NDA Commandant, the Shelling Lodge, is equipped with world class facilities to meet up with the needs of the PG students.
