Promotion A Call To Duty

The Deputy Commandant, Nigeria Defence Academy Air Vice Marshal CE Okoye has charged the newly promoted officers in the Academy to be more responsible and responsive in the discharge of their duties stating that promotion is a call to greater duty and responsibility. He made this known at the decoration event of the newly promoted officers at the Deputy Commandants conference room, Head Quarters NDA.

Addressing the newly promoted officers, the Deputy Commandant advised the officers to seize every opportunity to develop themselves, adding that at this stage of their career they should be exemplary leaders and role models to officers and soldiers placed under them.

Delivering the vote of thanks on behalf of the newly decorated officers, Major ED Nanyak expressed gratitude to God for the privilege. She also thanked the Armed Forces, Commandant, senior officers, friends and family for their various support and pledged to put in their best and be dedicated to the service of their father land.
