The Department of Biological Sciences in the Faculty of Science, Nigerian Defence Academy, (NDA.) is a mega department having the largest number of cadets and diverse undergraduate and postgraduate course components in Zoology, Botany, Biochemistry, Hydrobiology, Microbiology, Biotechnology and Biological Warfare.

The Department has a crop of seasoned and competent academics who are lecturing and carrying out research in applied aspects of these field of Biological Sciences.
