     This site has been designed with the aim of providing some basic information about the Department of Physics and its activities.  You are therefore urged to take the full advantage of the site.

    Department of Physics was created in 1985 along side with other three departments in Faculty of Sciences, following its upgrading to a university status for the purpose of producing graduate military officers with high intellectual capacity.  It became imperative to provide necessary information on both academic and general administrative programmes of the department for the benefit of potential cadets and postgraduate students.  I therefore, wish to welcome the user of this site to Physics Department.  It is my hope that the site will serve the intended purpose of informing and guiding the user on the activities of the department.
