Chemistry


          Chemistry is the bedrock of all Industrial activities and development.  The effort of man towards deeper understanding and improvement of his environment, synthesis of new materials essential to the enhancement of the quality of life and the surge in sustenance of economic and technological progress require a broad knowledge of chemistry and its application.

         Modern warfare has shifted from the use of sheer force to the employment of high technology and Information System to which chemistry play a key and central rule.  The degree programme in Chemistry Department is aimed at fostering an appreciation of centrality of chemical science to the military, human well-being as well as its inevitable linkage to and interaction with other branches of science.  A deep knowledge of modern chemistry being impacted on the cadets of the Academy is therefore sine-qua-non for continue reference and as a solid foundation.
