Vision and Mission


Vision:    Our vision is to train cadets who would obtain a good honors degree that can be compared with that obtained from any other part of the world.  The cadets are also trained morally so as to deserve award of certificate in learning and character.  Research projects are carried out by cadets under strict supervision.  They are properly defended before external examiners from other Universities.  So far, many of our cadets who have passed out have obtained Master’s and Doctoral degrees in other Universities, home and abroad.  The academic training however does not disturb their military programme.  The National Universities Commission accredits our programmes.  We also utilize the Benchmark recommendation.

Mission Statement:    The Faculty shall provide each Officer Cadet with the knowledge, skills and values necessary to meet the requirement of a graduate through academic and character development.
